Wenden CC

 J.Heald Coaching started working in partnership with Wenden Cricket Club in 2021 and, like Wenden CC, is dedicated to developing players of all abilities to be the best young cricketers they can be.

As part of our partnership with Wenden CC, we were delighted to be involved with their first Winter Nets initiative which was held at Dame Bradbury’s School, Saffron Walden between October 2021 and February 2022. This development programme focussed on players’ technical ability in all areas and was delivered by our highly qualified coaches in a professional, engaging and fun environment.

The initiative has been incredibly successful and popular and we are now ready to embark on the third season of the Winter Nets programme which will resume at Dame Bradbury’s, Saffron Walden in October 2023. In addition to the Winter Nets Programme at Dame Bradbury’s, we are also launching a new winter Invitational Programme at Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport for youngsters in Years 5 to Year 8.

In addition to the Winter Nets Programme, we also provide weekly coaching sessions during the summer season to youngsters of all ages and abilities at Wenden CC and for the older players, specific coaching sessions focus on our Pathway to Adult Cricket.
